Ah cool! I did google on "Ball Jointed Dolls" there are great and so big also great looking dolls. I'm not really in to the manga looks etc but this is cool!

Yeah, there are a whole range of looks. Some of them are more realistic than the whole asian aestetic. And yeah, they are super expensive. There are a few really awesome collectors on the forums that I go to (www.denofangels.com/forums) who are from Netherlands. They do epic faceups but the shipping to get my kids over there would be horrendous. T-T
